What do you see when you look at me Do you see what I see Do you see what God sees What do you see when you look at me The fat hairy slug I see Or the beautiful daughter God sees What do you see when you look at me The imperfections and mistakes I see Or the grace and mercy God sees What do you see when you look at me The girl that tries to hard to please Or the unconditionally loved that God sees What do you see when you look at me Dear Heavenly Father this is my only plea Please see Christ when looking at me

That day on my knees the pain too great to bear The end was finally near Wanting nothing this life had to offer HE was there with me Encouraging me to be I felt HIM all around Holding me as I lay on the ground Free from sin I would finally know Peace enough to let go Finally I let HIM into my heart Knowing it was a brand new start Peace washed over me like nothing I had every known Everything changed and I knew I had grown I felt HIS embrace and knew I was finally home No longer to face this cold world alone I was finally free from my hole Something much bigger than me filled my heart and soul My smile felt all the way through Joy bubbled from deep within and grew Finally I had a purpose all my own Something in my heart that was already full blown Something that changed me if I dared Something I just had to share Filled with HIS love and armed with HIS spirit I had to help others and see them through it In a world full of thorns I was finally a rose Everyday that love just grows and grows From that day on my knees when I accepted JESUS into my heart And FINALLY had a BRAND NEW start

TOO THIS TOO THAT
Gas too high. Sites too low. Life too fast. Time too slow. Reach the top. Find more stairs. Don't pass go. Just not fair.
Funds don't grow. Waist won't shrink. Less go green. More red ink. Plentiful gray. Diminished hair. Death by chocolate. Might be fair.
Tongue too loose. Jeans too tight. Jokers to the left. Clowns to the right. Ride the fence. Go nowhere. News too bleak. World not fair.
Globe is warming. Coffee cooling. Young man texting. Old man drooling. Intruded space. Polluted air. Politically correct. How's that fair?
